We are planning to conduct an observational research study with 104 women, across America, between the ages of 40-60, who are experiencing physical and psychological symptoms of perimenopause or menopause.
Upon acceptance into this research study, participants receive vials containing either an active or inactive herbal hemp-based oil.
The purpose of the observational study is to collect data to determine whether there is statistically meaningful evidence that the hemp-based oil ameliorates psychological symptoms of menopause / perimenopause (e.g., brain fog, anxiety, stress, mood swings, and depression).
CLINICAL TRIAL DESIGN
WHAT'S INVOLVED?
♀Daily Commitment:
1-minute phone surveys twice a day.
10-minute weekly cognitive tests on your phone.
♀ Monthly Tasks:
30-minute online surveys.
45-minute Zoom sessions.
♀ Study Duration: 3 months total.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You will take a natural hemp-based product or placebo three times a day for 2 months.
